Meet the Incoming Team: Jamie Ortiz

As we prepare to take office March 11th, I am pleased to continue introducing you to the incoming Managers! As I have mentioned often, I am very appreciative for the smooth transition into office these past few months have been.

Jamie Ortiz will be the incoming Fiscal Manager. Her duties will include overseeing the financial division of the office pertaining to payroll for all county employees, State Audit compliance, Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) preparation, and other monetary responsibilities.

Jamie was born and raised in Ashtabula County, she currently resides in Geneva with her husband Joe Ortiz and their children. Jamie has a Masters of Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame and previously worked as an auditor for E&Y in Cleveland. Jamie is very excited to join the Ashtabula County Auditor’s Office.
